On the 6th December after finding out the space launch had been postponed until the 9th December we went for a drive to Daytona Beach. It was a little bit colder than the last couple of days but we still managed to get the swim wear out. Typical English! In the afternoon when the temperature dropped we headed for the shops again. We could get used to this lifestyle!
The following day we visited the Blue Spring National Park to kayak with the Manatees. This was so cool and we even got to stroke them. They seemed to enjoy it and stayed around until we had to leave to return the kayak. We both agreed that this had been one of the best experiences so far in America.
