Our 1st stop in Mexico was Cabofornia (as the locals have nick named it). The amount of Americans here makes you feel like you could be in a different part of the USA. In total we stayed here four nights. We did one days diving at Lands End and Pelican Rock. On the second dive we spent a short time in the company of two playful sea lions. We have a great movie clip of them playing with us, which we will post as soon as we have the memory card put onto CD. The water was much warmer than in America - instead of the 13 degrees we had suffered in L.A we were diving in a blissful 27 degrees. Some people did not even wear wet suites!
The other days were spent on the beach. The sand was very coarse which made walking very elegant. It is taking some time for us to adjust to the new hot temperatures and the water was nice to cool off in.
After the high cost of America we decided to go for a budget hotel (25 pounds) so there was no pool for us to throw ourselves in, although the room did have air con.
